Savoy Hotel - Timisoara

The stay was a wonderful experience, mainly due to the location being a short walk from the Old Town, where we enjoyed exploring its charm. I particularly loved the breakfast, which not only had a rich variety but also featured a fun croissant filling machine that added a delightful touch to our mornings. The room was spacious and had impressive blackout blinds, facilitating a deep, restful sleep after a busy day of sightseeing.

the wifi did not work on my computer. The reception told me it should work otherwise there was a problem with my computer. Very strange, my netbook worked perfectly in the previous and the next hotel...

Immaculately clean place with responsive staff and magnificent view over the Cathedral. Brand-new and well furnished room with extra large bed and hypoallergenic pillows.

Awesome blackout curtains

Spotlessly clean and beautifuly designed hotel, views are great, location is decent in the old town area. The breakfast is hot. The units are brand-new, air-conditioned. The staff are extremely helpful and competent and offer wake up service and ironing free of charge. The venue provided a very good customer service during our weekend.

Location. Relatively big room for low rate. Whereas this is predominantly due to the applicable price range in Timisoara.

Minibar initially out of order. Contents of minibar old, bottles stained and sticky plus poor choice. Was addressed and hotel staff rected quickly. Bedsheet to small for size of bed. No ironing facilities in the room.

The breakfast was good, with a wide variety of options including fresh pastries and a charming croissant filling machine.

The limited parking availability was a bit challenging. Although there is free street parking on weekends, it might require some planning.

Good location close to the opera square. Great service, great staff

Breakfast starts at 7. it can be a problem if you wat to leave early. We had to leave at 7 to the airport. However the staff was very helpfull to bring a breakfast tray to the room at 6:50 am

Nice rooms, free internet and good location. The restaurant is very good and guys are very professional. I'll be back again.

The reasons I'm conflicted

The location is superb! Just a stroll from the picturesque old town. The room features a minibar and electric kettle.

Staff interactions were hit or miss, I faced rude service at times that marred my experience.

Normally stay in NH, but as fully booked chose the Savoy. Pleasant stay - very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are roomy, good size bathroom with all facilities, free wifi etc. Quiet location not far from Kathedral - 5-10 mins walk. Meets the description and evaluation given by other reviews. Will stay there again!

Very comfortable rooms in a quiet area of the city, by the Bega river, just across the park ant the Cathedral Plaza - the city centre. Lovely design and decorations, retro-style, but with taste and intelligence. Get a superior room to feel realy great.
